HOW IT HAPPENED
We were approached by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and Health Service 360 to create a film to show how deconditioning can rob someone of how youthful they feel. We made a film about Jane - an older woman who very much feels like she’s still in her 20s at heart, but that’s taken away by a stay in hospital that lowers her muscle mass, and her ability to live life to the full.
Shot on location in Warwick Hospital and locations around Warwickshire over two days, Deconditioned has screened internationally at a number of healthcare summits and has kept the conversation about this deadly medical occurrence going.
